Miku Nakano Bot — Privacy Policy

Miku Nakano Bot ("the Bot") is a Discord bot designed to respond to user commands and provide configurable features for Discord servers. This policy explains what information the Bot uses and stores.

1. Information We Store

The Bot stores only information needed for server-level functionality:

• Server (guild) ID: Used to identify the Discord server and associate it with its settings.
• Server member count: The total number of members in a server, not a list of individual members.
• Server configuration: Settings and configuration files created or modified by server administrators to customize how the Bot operates.

The Bot does not intentionally store individual users' Discord IDs, usernames, profiles, message histories, or records of which users execute commands.

2. Information Used When You Run a Command

When you use a slash command or a supported text command (such as $miku), Discord provides the Bot with the command or message and the information necessary to process it and send a response. The Bot uses this information at the time of the interaction but does not save it as a user profile or command history.

3. How Information Is Used

Stored information is used to load server preferences, provide configured features, and maintain basic server-level information. Command information is used to respond to the command you requested. The Bot does not sell user data or use it for targeted advertising.

4. Sharing and Retention

The Bot communicates with Discord to receive commands and deliver responses. Server-level configuration and metadata are not sold or shared with advertisers. Stored server data is kept only while needed to operate the Bot and can be deleted upon an appropriate request, subject to applicable requirements.

5. Data Requests and Deletion

Because the Bot does not maintain individual user records, it generally has no saved user profile to export or delete. Server administrators may request deletion of their server's stored configuration and metadata by contacting the Bot operator. Please include the relevant server ID.

6. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the Bot's features or data practices change. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
